Will NetApp go down the same path of moving into adjacent markets to continue to grow the company?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>David\u2019s response included: \u201cWe&#8217;re not interested at all in going EMC&#8217;s route.\u201d  I guess a lot has changed since early March 2005!  In this <a href=\"http:\/\/searchstorage.techtarget.com\/originalContent\/0,289142,sid5_gci1077022,00.html?track=NL-52&#038;ad=509766USCA\">article<\/a>, just one month later, also on SearchStorage.com, we see that NetApp is now going EMC\u2019s route by purchasing software-maker Alacritus.<\/p>\n<p>Would that be a flip or a flop?
